Robert Berič (born 17 June 1991 in Krško) is a Slovenian footballer, currently playing for Maribor.

Club career

Berič started his career in NK Krško youth teams and then moved to their main squad before signing for NK Interblock. He made his debut at Interblock as a substitute in a 2-1 away victory over Drava Ptuj. He scored his first goal for the club in a 3-0 win over Primorje Ajdovščina on 7 December 2008. In total he has played 32 games for Interblock in Slovenian first division, 1.SNL where he scored 12 goals.

In August 2010, he moved to NK Maribor together with his teammate Josip Iličić, where he signed a four-year contract with the club.[1]

Berič was linked with a move to Newcastle United on the 31st of August, claims of a €2.5 million bid were denied by his agent Amir Ruznic.[2] [3]
